Accounts Payroll and Admin Support

Our Accounts Payroll and Admin Support professional is responsible for processing payroll and providing administrative support to an organization. They may be responsible for calculating and disbursing employee wages, managing employee benefits, and handling administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and answering phones.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Suitable accounting qualifications
  • High attention to detail, with strong reconciliation skills
  • Responds to enquiries in a time-efficient manner
  • Self-motivated with the ability to take ownership of the tasks and work autonomously.
  • Excellent IT literacy with Excel, Xero, MS Word, Outlook mail, Google docs/sheets.

The successful candidate will:

  • Manage Payroll of some 12 staff via Xero
  • Update and process leave (holiday and sick leave) requests
  • Process incoming booking forms from event sponsors; raising and sending subsequent invoices
  • Perform account reconciliations; update and maintain our corporate ‘master’ spreadsheet (including data entry of actual and projected revenue, event/operational/staff expenses; and cashflow projection, etc.)
  • Follow up overdue payments (via email and phone)
  • Maintain accurate accounts payable and receivable documentation on shared network file
  • Produce monthly P&L report
