Our Bookkeepers are individuals responsible for recording and maintaining a company's financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. They use accounting software and methods to ensure accurate and organized financial records, assisting businesses in managing their financial data efficiently.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Bank reconciliation
Entering bills
Processing payroll
Preparation of BAS and IAS
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field in bookkeeping preferred
QUALIFICATIONS
Product Knowledge
Has done bookkeeping as a career, preferably with an Australian Bookkeeping firm, with multiple clients
Understanding of Australian GST law, including preparation of business activity statements and income activity statements
Process development skills
Excellent customer service skills
System and Application Knowledge
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word and Excel
Must have end-to-end experience in Xero
Preferably has experience using SimPRO
Has the ability and willingness to learn new systems and tools
Quality
Works within the Hammerjack quality guidelines
Ensures quality of work being delivered without being supervised
