Our Events Managers are responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a wide range of events, from corporate conferences and trade shows to weddings and social gatherings. They oversee all aspects of event logistics, from budgeting and vendor selection to ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for attendees.
We are looking for an Events and Operations Manager who will remotely undertake the following duties:
Roundtables (15 to 20 people) and Event lunches (50 people)
• Book venues for roundtable and event luncheons at hatted/five-star restaurants or function venues
• Source and negotiate competitive quotes from third-party suppliers (AV, video producers, etc.)
• Source sponsor logos for the printing of place cards for private roundtables
• Creating and finalizing menu selection
• Create a Runsheet for internal stakeholders and venue (based on an existing template)
Conferences (200+ people)
• Support Conference Director with various duties, including the emailing of sponsor kits (for
conference sponsors)
• Responds to sponsor inquiries (phone or email) in a time-efficient manner
• Sourcing sponsor logos
• Creating and delivering digital and physical signage
• Sourcing audio-visual, videography and photography quotes
• Liaising with the internal sales and production team in virtual meeting
Essential Attributes:
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Experience in using the EventsAir platform
• Experience in liaising with event sponsors
• Have a strong grasp of the English language and good written communication skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to take ownership of the tasks and work autonomously.
