We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to work on a Logistics billing engine application with a .NET 4.5 C# backend and SQL Server database. The application comprises of Web Forms, Desktop Apps, and an API layer as well as many Integration components.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with team members to design and build innovative software that improve and support the digitalising of logistics operations for TMS customers and internal staff.
- Ensure all new software components function smoothly and meet the requirements of the tasks
- Meet regularly with team members and internal stakeholders to discuss software issues and contribute ideas and methods of solving existing problems
- Write original code and update existing code, ensuring that all code meets best practice standards
- Perform intensive testing of all new and existing software solutions contributed to ensure they are free of errors and function as intended
- Update and debug existing software to ensure a smooth and uniform user experience across the platform
- Keep up to date on the newest technological innovations in the field and be ready to apply relevant innovations to our software systems and processes
- Perform data analysis and comparisons for testing and business improvement purposes
- Write integration components with various transport partners and other inhouse applications
- Participate in various migration tasks relating to upgrading existing front and back end components
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong .NET C# coding abilities
- Strong with SQL Queries / Stored Procedures
- Experience with Web Forms
- Experience with JSON and XML
- Experience with MS Excel for data analysis
- A high level of attention to detail
- Strong communication skills both oral and written
- Angular 2 and above preferred
- Familiarity with Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps is a bonus
- .NET Core experience is a bonus
