Head of Sales (SMB0002)

Sales Head / Head of Growth will lead the sales initiatives, drive revenue growth, and expand our market presence. This role is responsible for developing and executing growth strategies, optimizing sales processes, and building strong relationships with clients and partners.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Growth Strategy & Leadership

 

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy to drive revenue and market expansion.
  • Identify new market opportunities and customer segments to optimize sales efforts.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success.

Sales & Business Development

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Oversee the entire sales funnel, from lead generation to closing deals.
  • Identify and implement new sales channels, including inbound, outbound, and partnership-driven strategies.

Marketing & Customer Acquisition

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to align sales efforts with branding and lead generation initiatives.
  • Leverage data and analytics to refine sales strategies and optimize customer acquisition.
  • Experiment with and implement growth-hacking techniques to accelerate business growth.

Operational Excellence & Reporting

  • Build and optimize scalable sales processes and best practices.
  • Utilize CRM tools to track and analyze sales performance and customer interactions.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on sales performance, forecasts, and opportunities.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 5-8 years in sales, leadership, business development, or growth strategy roles.
  • Proven track record in SaaS, IT, AI, and/or related fields.
  • Experienced managing and scaling sales teams.
  • Willing to work for a start-up business and wear many hats including leading the team and doing day-to-day sales functions.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in sales and marketing analytic tools.
  • Has the ability to develop long-term strategies while executing short-term initiatives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, and other sales automation tools.
  • A self-starter who thrives fast-paced, dynamic environment.
