Our Tax and Business Service Accountant is a financial professional who specializes in providing tax and accounting services to businesses and individuals. They may perform tasks such as tax preparation, bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, and providing advice on business strategy and financial planning.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum of 2-3 years recent, relevant experience in Public Practice and ambition for your career development
• Studying towards CA or CPA qualifications
• Knowledge of Sage software products is an advantage but not necessary
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Exposed to many different areas of compliance and advisory work
• With your team you will be responsible for assisting in preparation of financial statements, preparation of tax returns (individual, partnership, company, trusts), FBT returns, preparation of Business Activity Statements, tax planning and dealing directly with the likes of the ATO/ state revenue offices/ASIC
• Doing trial balances, preparing IAS and BAS
