  • Reviewing plans, drawings, and specifications to produce material takeoffs
  • Calculating quantities for materials, labour, and equipment required
  • Identifying scope gaps or unclear specifications and flagging them for clarification
  • Maintaining accurate takeoff records for each project or job

Cost Estimating
  • Building detailed cost estimates using current material and labour rates
  • Sourcing and comparing supplier pricing for major cost items
  • Applying standard rates, allowances, and contingencies per company guidelines
  • Updating cost databases as pricing changes

Quote Preparation & Documentation
  • Preparing structured quotes and tender documents for review
