Manila, Philippines — hammerjack marked a major corporate milestone with Next Horizon, its 10th Year Anniversary event, formally closing the company’s first decade and setting a clear direction for the years ahead. Held at New World Makati and attended by approximately 400 employees, the event brought together teams from across the organisation to reflect on sustained growth and align on what comes next.

Event highlights, shared through hammerjack’s official LinkedIn channel, captured key moments from the evening — including leadership addresses, employee recognition, and the collective energy that defined the milestone celebration.

More than a celebration, Next Horizon was positioned as a statement of intent. It signalled hammerjack’s readiness to scale with confidence, guided by refreshed values, long-term investment in people, and a sharpened focus on regional leadership across Southeast Asia.

A decade built on people and culture

The evening centred on recognition, underscoring the role of long-term contributors in shaping the business. Five-year service awardees were formally acknowledged alongside performance recognitions, reinforcing hammerjack’s emphasis on retention, career longevity, and building teams that grow with the organisation.

These moments were framed not just as milestones reached, but as evidence of a culture designed to support sustainable careers. Long-term contributors were recognised as the backbone of the organisation, reflecting a deliberate focus on people as the foundation of growth.

Reflecting on the company’s journey, Criz Sanchez, Head of Delivery Operations, noted the scale of that progress: “We grew from one person, to ten, to twenty, and then far beyond that. To everyone in the room, thank you. Without your dedication and hard work, we would not be celebrating this moment together.”

Leadership clarity and alignment

A defining moment of the evening came during the Country Director’s address, where Rocky Layno outlined hammerjack’s direction for its next phase of growth. The address set out the company’s ambitions for scale, reinforced the importance of values-led decision-making, and highlighted the role of listening, feedback, and operational discipline as the organisation continues to expand.

The address also marked the official launch of hammerjack’s refreshed company values. Introduced as a guiding compass rather than an internal update, the values were positioned as practical drivers for how the organisation operates and scales, anchoring consistency as the business grows. Reflecting on what lies ahead, Layno noted the broader ambition behind the company’s next chapter: “And if this is what we’ve achieved so far, imagine what we’ll be celebrating next year. We won’t just be counting years — we’ll be counting hundreds, then thousands of careers built, opportunities created, and lives changed.”

Managing Director, Paul Kamper, took time to acknowledge the collective effort behind the company’s success. He thanked teams across the organisation for the work they do every day, noting that hammerjack’s progress over the past decade would not have been possible without the commitment and contribution of its people. His remarks reinforced the organisation’s view that sustained growth is built through long-term investment in its workforce.

Speaking to what differentiates hammerjack as it scales, Kamper highlighted the company’s operating model and commitment to transparency. “We’re a Filipino-led offshoring team, that’s what separates us from our competition. With an influenced decision-making, but it all comes from here.” he said. He added that the company’s focus moving forward is on continuously lifting standards while remaining deeply customer-centred. “What inspires me is how adaptable we are, and how committed we are to doing better — holding great standards and working closely with our customers.”

Culture in action

Throughout the program, employee-led performances and shared moments of participation reinforced the organisation’s emphasis on belonging and empowerment. Rather than scripted messaging, the event showcased culture through lived experience, highlighting a connected workforce engaged in shaping the company’s future.

To ensure inclusivity, Next Horizon was delivered in a hybrid format, with livestream access allowing team members who could not attend in person to participate remotely. This approach reflected modern workplace practices and hammerjack’s commitment to accessibility across its distributed teams.

Closing one chapter, setting the next

The evening was deliberately framed as the close of hammerjack’s first decade, creating both emotional and strategic momentum heading into the next phase of growth. Over the past ten years, the organisation has secured major partnerships, invested in infrastructure and systems, and gained external recognition, including being named one of Southeast Asia’s Best Companies to Work For.

Next Horizon reinforced that this recognition, and the growth behind it, is the result of sustained investment in people, values that guide action, and leadership that prioritises clarity and accountability.

As hammerjack enters its next decade, the message from Next Horizon was clear. The focus is not on marking time, but on setting direction. With scale, confidence, and a strong cultural foundation, the organisation is positioned to grow responsibly, invest deeply in its workforce, and continue leading the future of global staffing from Southeast Asia.
