hammerjack: Celebrating 5 years of enabling business transformation!
hammerjack turns 5! What a ride, and even with everything thrown at us in 2020 we have managed to work more closely with our customers than ever before, helping us come out stronger, more connected and established in an ever-changing market. As we reflect on the past year, we couldn’t help but also take a look back at where we started and how we’ve grown from a team of 7 to nearly 200 strong.
Humble Beginnings, Big Dreams
hammerjack was born in January of 2016, built by a management team with more than 40 years of outsourcing offshore experience and just 7 bookkeepers and IT professionals servicing Australian small to mid-size business.
In 2016, with rapid customer growth offering a new hybrid (onshore/offshore) model, managed service, transparent and honest approach to outsourcing along with our expertise and previously developed centre operating model, hammerjack moved to Makati HQ: a 1000-square meter state of the art, purpose built office with the latest technology and infrastructure to support more complex and technical customer requirements.
Stable and Sustainable Growth
Fast forward to 2019, and the hammerjack client base now includes customers from all parts of the United States, United Kingdom, and Australia. Operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, we are proud to say our largest and most successful clients are that have grown with us from the start and continue to find ways to save, transform, and grow with hammerjack.
Growth during COVID-19
The world was disrupted by COVID-19, and hammerjack wasn’t immune; so when the Philippine president announced the implementation of the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) – the strictest of lockdowns we’ve seen – hammerjack quickly responded and pivoted to ensure continued support for our customers in the span of a weekend!
We moved hundreds of employees for ourselves and our sister companies in the Philippines and Australia to work from home, providing them with the equipment and support they needed while relentlessly delivering quality results to customers. The quick response empowered by the smartest of technologies with security and connectivity requirement as key focus, resulted to minimal to no impact at all for our customers and their businesses.
Now as we transition into the “new norm”, hammerjack is facilitating remote, hybrid, and full on-site models to support the safety and productivity of our teams and customers.
What’s in store in 2021
We started 2021 and our 5th year with a bang!
The hard work and collaboration between our people and customers over the last 5 years has been building to what we think will be hammerjack’s biggest year yet. Right now we’re seeing businesses needed to save, grow, and transform, and this is a time where help is needed more than ever and hammerjack is placed to deliver what we believe is our responsibility: the ability to help. If we can help, we will.
