As a Supply Chain Inventory or Pallet Controller, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate pallet inventory reporting within our organisation. You will spearhead the effort in pallet control and management.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain an accurate record of pallet inventory levels.
- Regularly monitor and update the pallet database or tracking system.
- Conduct Daily/Weekly meetings on IOU accounts.
- Conduct Weekly Bill Reconciliations.
- Resolve Unreconciled Transactions.
- Resolve Unprocessed Transactions.
- Conduct Daily Stocktake Reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Provide Daily Movement Summary to stakeholders.
- Provide, update, and distribute reports relating to pallet movements to relevant stakeholders.
- Monitoring and recording pallet hire volumes, recovery, and de-hire.
- Resolving pallet rejections, and discrepancies and ensuring accuracy and completeness of outbound consignments with internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase the efficiency of pallet management.
- Fulfil other duties as required by management and other department personnel as requested/required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge and Experience
- Proven working experience as a Pallet Controller for a minimum of 4 years
- Experience with CHEP
- Experience with pallet reconciliation software
- Excellent grasp of reconciliations
