Performance Specialists

Our Performance Specialist is responsible for analysing and optimising the performance of a company's products or services. They use data analysis and research to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to increase efficiency, productivity, and profitability.


  • 5+ years’ hands-on experience in an SEO role, ideally with SEO Lead or Manager experience, as well as hands-on experience in a Paid Search role. Agency experience is also a bonus.
  • Able to work on a either a day shift or mid-shift schedule (following AU or NZ time zone).
  • Hands-on knowledge and experience across the following platforms is highly desirable; SEMRush (or alternatively Ahrefs), Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, SA360.
  • Proficient in link building end-to-end including outreach and link acquisition.
  • Excellent technical SEO skills required to execute technical errors and server-level issues for technical audits.
  • Must have experience utilising Google Ads Editor and proficient Excel skills.
  • Preferably someone who understands how SEO compliments Paid Search and Programmatic Advertising also, with our wider agency having teams specialising in these areas.
  • High attention to detail, with good organisational and project management skills.
  • Be a team player, with a can-do attitude and the ability to collaborate with the entire agency.
  • An analytical mindset and comfortable with providing performance analysis and recommendations.
  • Proficient in a wide range of CMS platforms as well as working on e-commerce sites.
  • Copywriting / Content writing experience is advantageous.


  • Analysis of data across Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMRush, Screaming Frog and
  • Surfer SEO to support client strategy, and new SEO opportunities.
  • Manage hours spent on SEO, ensuring that work is completed within agreed agency retainers.
  • Keep up to date with SEO best practices, strategies and techniques.
  • Competitor analysis and research to identify SEO strategies.
  • Deep dive keyword research, and ensure ranking strength is continuously optimised and outperforming competitors.
  • Content Analysis: conduct content audits, analyse and optimise existing content. Use insights to create and manage a content calendar.
  • Manage and execute bulk-projects such as blog audits and title and meta descriptions.
  • Support in monthly reporting for clients – contributing to insights and strategy.
  • Provide SEO-optimised copy where necessary for client content.
  • Responsible for building and implementing search campaigns across Google Ads, Bing and other search engines.
  • Utilise tools such as Google Ads Editor, SA360 and other automation platforms to improve efficiency.
  • Conduct regular account hygiene tasks across accounts; Account audit, SQRs, Ad Copy reports, Audience refresh.
  • Conduct keyword research utilising Google Analytics, Google Ads and SEMRush.
  • Build out keyword and ad copy proposals for client campaigns.
  • Support in weekly/monthly reporting for clients.
  • Contribute to team WIPs providing insight and optimisation recommendations.
  • Stay up to date with latest Google and Search product updates and betas.
  • Identify and propose test and learn opportunities for clients.
